THE THIRD LAYER

Layering New Possibilities

CASUAL OUTERWEAR
TAILORED CLOTHING
The Third Layer has the capacity to produce a wide range of outerwear products, from overcoats to soft blazers, and even tailored clothing for select clients.
Now we have expanded our product range to include blousons, bomber jackets, field jackets, hybrid jackets, unconstructed blazers, trench coats, artificial down fill jackets and insulated/quilted jackets & vests.

CASUAL OUTERWEAR

Casual outerwear is one of the main staples of The Third Layer’s business. From bomber jackets to full-length coats, we manufacture different types and styles of outerwear fit for any occasion and any season.

OVERCOATS

MODERN UPDATES OF TIMELESS CLASSICS

The overcoat has been a staple in menswear since the 19th century, and its enduring appeal is a testament to its functionality and versatility. The trench coat is more complex in construction. Its resistance to water and wear made it the garment of choice for “trench” warfare. Today, the trench coat has evolved into a seasonal essential.

SOFT BLAZERS

VERSATILE PIECES FOR ALL SEASONS

With looser cuts and more neutral colorways, soft blazers and unconstructed jackets are less formal and display their versatility year round.

QUILTED JACKETS

BALANCING STYLE
AND FUNCTIONALITY

Stylish yet practical, The Third Layer’s range of quilted jackets exemplifies the perfect balance between fashion and functionality, showcasing panel and roll quilting techniques for accuracy and a clean finish.

BOMBERS

THE TOP GUN OF
JACKETS

Bomber jackets, originally known as flight jackets, were created to keep pilots warm and secure. Its core design has remained the same through the years, speaking volumes for the timelessness of this classic silhouette. Optional artificial down insulation helps fight the winter chills.

FIELD JACKETS

MILITARY INSPIRED GARMENT

The field jacket is an enduring favorite of safari explorers as well as urban adventurers. With their multiple pockets and flattering cuts, the field jacket is highly utilitarian and easy to pair with vests and t-shirts.

TAILORED CLOTHING

With a rich heritage in fine tailoring, The Third Layer’s suits exude poise and elegance.

TAILORED SUITS

INNOVATING TO
STAY AHEAD

With a keen eye for emerging trends, The Third Layer has expanded its manufacturing capabilities to include a range of outerwear products. We now offer soft-tailored, active, and stretch outerwear, along with traditional jackets and overcoats. We have also introduced innovative artificial down-fill jackets and vests, providing clients with diverse options. Our rainwear collection features classic mackintoshes and water-resistant windcheaters that feature water-resistant seam bonding, contrast seam bonding laser cutting, and heat transfer bar-tacks. We have also perfected quilting techniques, utilizing artificial down in lining and main construction through roll quilt and panel quilt methods, optimizing results while minimizing fabric consumption.

REVOLUTIONIZING FASHION
THROUGH DIGITAL PRECISION

To minimize waste, The Third Layer embraces digitalization by employing 3D virtual sampling for style, material, and fitting evaluations throughout the entire concept-to-production process. Our skilled 3D Pattern Technicians translate design ideas into patterns and refine fit and styling within the software, resulting in highly precise samples. This technology enables us to visualize print positions, verify layouts, and effectively illustrate change across different size grades.
