Producing comfortable garments that are soft on the environment

As a responsible garment producer, we strive to provide customers with products that are safe to wear, and manufactured in a way that has minimal impact on the environment.

Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC)

As garment products naturally come into direct contact with your skin, we scrutinize all chemicals used in our processes and strive to avoid any potentially harmful ones.

All chemicals used in our finishing processes comply with current industry standards including AAFA, RSL and REACH. We also work closely with chemical suppliers to ensure compliance. In 2013, TAL Apparel shifted from long-chain fluorinated water repellent chemistry (Perfluorinated Chemicals C8) to C6 chemicals which do not break down to form Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA). With the exception of short-chain Perfluorinated Chemicals (C6), TAL Apparel strictly avoids using other substances among the ZDHC's 11 priority chemical elimination roups.
